Does my partner have to install Hugsy too?
Yes. It’s a two-person app, that’s the whole point. The invite is one tap (a WhatsApp link) and takes about 60 seconds. If they don’t join in 24 hours, we hold your daily answers so nothing’s wasted.
We already chat all day on WhatsApp. Why another app?
Hugsy isn’t another chat app. WhatsApp is for logistics: ‘what to make for dinner’, ‘meeting overran’. Hugsy is the five minutes a day that aren’t about logistics: one real question, one shared memory, one quiet thumb kiss.
What are the 2000+ conversation starters actually like?

Can anyone else see our memories or chats?
Nothing is public. There is no profile, no followers, no ‘discover couples nearby’ feed. Your memories and conversations stay between you and your partner. Lock the app with a PIN or hide the icon during a family visit (coming soon).
My partner isn’t really into apps like this. Will they actually use it?

Both. They sync in real time. Mixed pair (one iPhone, one Android) works exactly the same as a same-platform pair.
What happens to our data if we break up?
You can leave or pause the pair anytime from inside the app, no support email needed. Your data is yours; you can export the memories you contributed and delete the rest. We won’t hold anything hostage.
